The Blind Side review by DC Tauntaun

Based on the true story of Michael Oher (Ole Miss lore and current NFL lineman for the Ravens), I was pleasantly surprised with the motivating story, memorable relationships, and a gut wrenching moment of laughter as Michael shoves a linemen across the field and over the fence. This isn't a football movie, but a character drama involving a young man that becomes very good at football in the process. Sandra Bullock did a good job as Leigh Anne and Quinton Aaron was very believable as the struggling Michael. Although corny and hokey at times (coaches should stay as coaches and not try and act) the film moves along well and kept my interest throughout. Although not a blockbuster, this film should please the masses. I think that females will relate better to the film, but there are enough amazing hits on linemen from Michael to keep the guys smiling. The director keeps throwing in moments of levity and comedy that keep it from getting too serious and sappy for it's own good.
