Review of When in Rome by DC Tauntaun
With Valentines Day approaching, one is certain to find romance in the "theatre" air. They did find a bit of magic in this one, well that was Jon Heder making things disappear, but it was more the comedy that succeeded than the romance. Although I didn't laugh much, moments did entertain. For a guy thinking of ways to get brownie points, there are worse things than sitting through this film. There is enough guy humor to keep from clawing your eyes out over sappy romance. Sure there are monologues and attempts at love, but sorry guys, you're not the target audience. The story is predictable, but the premise unique. The romance is unbelievable, but the guy is a winner. The females get their prince charming, and the guys get reminded why they don't throw coins in a fountain. It's a fairy tail in it's own way, and I expect this one to entertain. Not one you will forever remember, but your date, you hopefully will.
