A Hearfelt inspirational movie that is inspired by a true story. With the feel of a made for TV movie, yet the acting presence of Harrison Ford it was moving entertainment. Harrison Ford played the grumpy off the wall scientist and Brendan Fraser the sad and frustrated father as he watches his two children die. Together they take an unlikely path to eventually help create an enzyme that helps children with pompe. Like other stories that follow the path of a true story, the parts can drag along, but since you have an idea where it is going, you are fine with it as you hope they can discover the medicine to help. It was filmed here in Oregon. To think about the risk this family by giving up stability for the unknown and fight for life is amazing. A decent option if you're looking for something to watch during the cold winter months.
