Review Speed Racer by DC Tauntaun

GLITZ! FLASH! ZOOM! WOW! Certainly a special effects extravaganza. The first half of the film I dragged through it waiting for the film to get going, but by the middle the pizazz sucked me in. Very shallow in storyline, and way too long, but it fits the billing of a summer film that is supposed to be eye popping candy and delight. It comes across in humor geared for a younger age, but the themes are older. Go and enjoy a fun film, but leave your expectations and critiquing home.
