As her head did rise, and her arms extend, her dance began and we sat in awe. As the music played and she floated like a cloud, we got goosebumps of glee. Elizabeth was in the middle of her first ballet recital and we couldn't be more proud. Six months ago Elizabeth started taking ballet since her youngest years were so full of "moments of dance". Each week she has come home with another move, or another way to dance to the music.
The realization of the oldest Thornton daughter beginning to take her own direction in life means she is getting older and wiser. Maybe Case had better start taking stress pills because that means teenage life isn't too far away.
The recital ended and her smile was huge. Congratulations Elizabeth on a very well performed program. Now we can't wait for their ballet of Snow White in July!
