Sparks Lake and more great stops

The Thornton's had the chance to take their visiting family members up to their favorite lake, Sparks Lake. During the family visit they also went to Lava River Cave which provided a lot of suspense for the little ones in the dark. Twin Lakes, Devil's Lake, and Elk Lake also made the trip. Drake Park was a great backdrop for the fourth of July celebration (and watching Grandpa Farr in the silly string wars was a treat). The fireworks lit up the sky as they all watched with the little ones smiling with joy. Sisters and the Metolius river provided a nice escape. The wrap up came with a trip to Multnomah Falls and Bonneville Dam to see the locks. It was a great week of creating memories for all involved. Thanks again to Grandma and Grandpa Farr, Nieces Jessica and Holly Kennedy, Nephew Liam Kennedy, and Jenny Farr (Vickie's sister) for making the out of the way 1600 mile trip on their way back to Texas.
