Every year, the area enjoys the Pole Peddle Paddle. A race that starts with skiing down Mount Bachelor, Cross country skiing to the main road, riding a bike down to Bend from there, riding a small boat on the deschutes, and running to the finish line. Case had to work, but Vickie, Elizabeth, and Ethan got to enjoy the fun outdoor festivities. Ethan enjoyed watching the varieties of boats (including those standing on and riding surf boards, those riding on an air mattress, etc.), Elizabeth enjoyed all the free prizes, and Vickie enjoyed the beautiful weather.
