Robin Hood Review by DC Tauntaun

The commercial looked like Gladiator 2. The movie turned out to have moments of Gladiator in it, but all in all turned out to be a decent rendition of a Robin Hood story. A wee bit long, and some moments that drag, but ultimately I will recommend this one. It's very well acted and the scenes are very well done. Ridley Scott portrays the era effectively and the battle sequences work. This version takes itself seriously and there isn't much fluff and humor. It tells more the story of how Robin became Robin Hood and less about the exploits that made Robin Hood famous in regards to stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.
