Oceans review by DC Tauntaun
I took my children to see this one since we had a good time watching Earth last year by Disney. Although not near as good, it was still very interesting to see the many underwater species I had never seen before. The children phased in and out of it (some moments they couldn't take their eyes off of it, others they were dawdling). That's the biggest difference from Earth. Earth had a storyline that melded together well. Oceans was a documentary about the oceans that felt like a dictionary. Fish A, Fish B, Fish C, etc. Any nature fan will enjoy it's amazing cinematography in regards to some of the shots they got. Seeing the 15 or so humpback whales all coming up out of the water at once was pretty awesome. There were a few spots Elizabeth looked up and said "that made me jump". Thumbs up for the great underwater shots, Thumbs sideways for the weak storyline.
