Our Family Wedding Review by DC Tauntaun

The idea sounded good. It looked like it could be funny. To my disappointment, it wasn't until the third reel that I laughed for the first time. I don't remember laughing again after that. Bored from poor execution, I was counting the reels. This film will have a core audience that likes it, but I am not in that core. Forest Whitaker plays his role well like he always does, but that's lost in the poor writing and weak product. The message turns more thematic as it moves along and ultimately put forth a good message, but nothing could save this one for me.
