David Koepp's dramedy hits and misses depending on who the audience is. The humor is dark and sarcastic. The romance never quite becomes convincing. The innuendos are enough to make it definately PG-13 and keep my wife from enjoying it.
On the flip side, it is well written, it is unique and fresh in an approach on the comedy romance genre (I added the dramedy aspect because I feel the thematic elements of the film drags it that direction). It is not one I will be buying, nor ever watch again. I also don't believe everyone is the audience here. One will have to see it on their own to come to their own conclusion as I can see a lot of people also really liking this one.
