With discount tickets to Mount Bachelor, the Thornton's couldn't pass up the opportunity to hit the slopes, and Elizabeth showed great interest in learning. So the Thornton's loaded up their van last week, grabbed the warmest gear they could find, and headed 20 minutes up to the west coast's best snow. She did amazingly well for her first time. We chalk it up to her ballet training that has helped her so much in the balance department. It is amazing the way she kept those skiis so tightly together.... Maybe Case should get into ballet:)
Case enjoyed the cloudy white out on top of the mountain (nothing like seeing nothing!) and just crossed my fingers hoping he didn't take the 'cliff' way down.
Afterwards they took Ethan sledding so he could have some fun too!
